la Onlus Roberta for Children e l’associazione Progetto Filippide, in collaborazione con Italsport e con il Patrocinio del III Municipio e dello CSAIn, organizzeranno una corsa (strada + campestre) aperta a tutti di 10 km a Monte Sacro (Parco dell’Aniene) e una passeggiata non competitiva di circa 2,5 km. Race for Children è il nome di questa iniziativa e la data è domenica 11 maggio 2014. Tutto il ricavato andrà a sostenere le spese per la realizzazione del progetto "Una casa per i bimbi"
L'obiettivo è quello di una raccolta fondi per la realizzazione, in collaborazione con il terzo Municipio e con il Centro comunale per la prima infanzia "Il Girotondo", di un Centro per l’infanzia nel terzo municipio, dove poter accogliere circa 10/12 bambini nella fascia di età 0-3 anni, neonati in condizioni di abbandono alla nascita, in situazioni di rischio per la propria crescita psico-fisica, e bambini vittime di maltrattamenti.
