About the event:
The Sharm El Sheikh International Half Marathon, an opportunity not to be missed. Participants will have the chance to run a few metres away from one of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. A race in close contact with nature, on one side the wonderful sand dunes and rocky mountains, on the other the channel of the mangroves, the hidden bay, the salty lake and last but not least, the spectacular turquoise colour of the sea. Running in company of herons, seagulls, sea swallows, fish hawks and thousands of storks that stop here whilst migrating from Europe to East Africa, where they spend the winter. Definitely an unforgettable experience! There are also the desert fox and the red fox among the animals which the athletes may have the chance to see if lucky enough.
