Gara nazionale di Mezza Maratona, con partenza dal centro di Poggio Imperiale, dopo 3 km nel centro abitato, il percorso si snoderà nel sugestivo scenario con vista sul Lago di Lesina, che i podistri troveranno davanti dopo qualche km costeggiando il Lungo Lago, suggestivo sarà il passaggio nel centro abitato di Lesina al termine del quale mediante un lungo rettilineo si rientrerà a Poggio Imperiale, per gli ultimi 3 km in vista del traguardo.
Dopo 4° Edizioni della 11km "Maratonina di Poggio Imperiale", gli organizzatori, raddoppiano la distanza, resta lo stesso impegno degli anni precedenti che ha permesso di realizzare una manifestazione che ha visto il gradimento dei podisti di diverse parti d'Italia.
