|About the event:
Saskatoon is a distance runner's paradise. Saskatoon is the largest city in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dubbed the 'land of living skies', it features a vast open landscape with roads that seem to stretch on forever. With a good dose of sun and open prairie roads, Saskatoon is perfectly suited for a run of this magnitude.
The Saskatoon race will begin at Prairieland Park in the south-western side of the city. From there, runners will head east on Circle drive, and afterwards south on Highway 11 towards Regina and finishing just outside of the town of Davidson.
Weather in Saskatoon is extremely seasonal. Since the run takes place early May, runners will likely experience cool spring weather.
Temperatures in Saskatoon during the month of May typically range from a low of 2 C degs to a comfortable high of 15 C degs. Runners can likely expect weather quite well suited for running - not too hot nor too cold. There is a chance of light rain and a somewhat more distant chance of moderate rain and light snow, so pack some technical clothing just in case.
