La corsa è denominata "Di corsa nel parco", si snoderà nel Parco del Ticino, nel territorio del comune di Borgo San Siro e rievoca la rocambolesca fuga del soldato Desmond Jones, che nel 1945 fuggì dal campo di prigionia n° 146 situato in località Vignazza.
