Da Bolzano al Corno del Renon, prima con le scarpe da corsa, poi con gli scarponi da sci e l'attrezzatura da sci alpinismo. I partecipanti percorrono circa 20 km e 2.000 metri di dislivello come atleti singoli o in squadre di due persone. Il Duathlon dell'Alto Adige è una gara per atleti che vogliono misurarsi con gli altri, ma anche per atleti che vogliono testare i propri limiti... e vogliono superarli! Una novità assoluta dal 2020 è la categoria "Montanari".
