Competitiva di Km 21,097 e non competitiva di Km 10 e Km 3. Partenza ore 18:30 (Km 21), ore 18:40 (Km 10) e 18:50 (Km 3) c/o il Campo di Atletica di Pian di Poma
Ogni anno, la Run for the Whales si svolge lungo un percorso mozzafiato che costeggia il mare, ovvero la pista ciclo-pedonale del Parco Costiero della Riviera dei Fiori. Tre le gare a cui potersi iscrivere: la Mezza Maratona 21 KM, la corsa non competitiva di circa 10 KM e la passeggiata per tutta la famiglia, Family Run di 3,5 KM. Partecipando alla Family Run dai il tuo contributo alla ricerca scientifica e alla tutela dei cetacei presenti nel mar Ligure, condotta dall’Istituto Tethys.
Il percorso della Run for the Whales Half Marathon è estremamente scenografico, dato che si sviluppa sull’antico tracciato della ferrovia e costeggia dall’inizio alla fine il mare. Si tratta un percorso molto veloce che si sviluppa in linea retta con un dislivello pressoché nullo. L’unica vera insidia può essere il vento
