Trail running di Km 45 (D+1900m), Km 25 (D+750m), Km 13 (D+650m) e non competitiva di Km 11 (D+560m). Partenza ore 07:00 (Km 45), ore 08:00 (Km 25), ore 09:30 (Km 13)
Il trail con le sue tre gare avrà come cornice la foresta demaniale di Marganai e più in generale la macroarea Linas/Marganai/Fluminese situata nel sud ovest della Sardegna, nella nuova provincia di Carbonia-Iglesias.
Si articoleranno lungo tragitti che passeranno tra villaggi minerari abbandonati e bellezze naturalistiche e archeologiche, toccando i territori di Buggerru, Fluminimaggiore, Iglesias e Domusnovas.
La Foresta è ricca di percorsi molto suggestivi , nonché di numerose specie faunistiche e specie endemiche di piante, che sono oggetto di studio ed osservazione. Oggi, infatti, la foresta di Marganai fa parte del progetto “Parco naturale di Monte Linas, Marganai-Oridda, Montimannu“, che si estende su un territorio di circa 22.220 ettari, comprendendo in parte i comuni di Domusnovas, Fluminimaggiore, Gonnosfanadiga, Iglesias e Villacidro.
Altro scorcio mozzafiato è quello della vallata verde, che circonda il Tempio di Antas, di origini puniche-romane, dedicato al Sardus Pater. Tutt’intorno vi sono testimonianze (tombe, resti di capanne) risalenti all’epoca nuragica, la più fiorente civiltà preistorica locale.
