About the event: All three routes are marked with tape and signs. There will be foot sweepers for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k You must take the route signed (Taped) there are various marshalls out on the course at various road crossings. If you decide to retire please head for the next checkpoint, here the Marshall will contact one of the race team and we will pick you up and return you back to the start. Please be patient though for your lift. All Hardmoors 26.2 series races will be taped and signed to help with navigation but in some situations signage and tape can go missing on the day of the event (whether it be accidental or deliberate) So competitors will be provided with a downloadable race route description and downloadable maps of the course which are to be used if tape and signs are not apparent. It is the competitors responsibility to navigate themselves throughout the course. |
