Ritorna la RUN2CASTLES con partenza dalla piazza di Acicastello ed arrivo al Castello Ursino, gara podistica in linea di km 10,500 che collegherà i due castelli più famosi di Catania ed attraverserà i luoghi più spettacolari della nostra città.
Dopo il clamoroso successo della 1° edizione del 2021 si ritorna a correre nelle strade dove ogni giorno centinaia di runner si allenano, in un percorso in linea unico nel suo genere, misurato e certificato.
Acicastello, Scogliera, Via Villini a Mare, Ognina, lungomare Artale Alagona, Viale Ruggero di Lauria , Piazza Europa, Corso Italia, Viale XX Settembre e poi Via Etnea con i suoi palazzi barocchi, Piazza Università, Piazza Duomo, ed infine Via Garibaldi con arrivo davanti al Castello Medievale di Catania, il Castello Ursino, in Piazza Federico di Svevia.
I più forti podisti siciliani si affronteranno su un percorso veloce e spettacolare per iscrivere il proprio nome nella seconda edizione di questo evento che ambisce a diventare nei prossimi anni la gara podistica più attesa dell’anno.
Novità di quest’anno la RUN2CASTLES RELAY RACE, staffetta uomo/donna/uomo dove ogni componente della squadra correrà circa 3500 mt, quindi evento aperto anche ai neofiti della disciplina che vogliono trascorrere una giornata all’insegna dello sport e del divertimento.
