Questanno la White Marble Marathon sarà la prima maratona PLASTIC FREE che si svolgerà in Italia.
Ecco come gestiremo l'evento.
Innanzitutto nel pacco gara non ci sar nulla in plastica che non sia riutilizzabile. Quindi nessun barretta o gel sar distribuita nel pacco gara . Questo non significa che non potrete utilizzare gel o barrette lungo il percorso ma solo che noi non li forniremo. Nel pacco gara troverete la vostra spugna personale che potrete portare con voi e utilizzare nei punti di spugnaggio che troverete lungo il percorso. All arrivo troverete dei contenitori dove riconsegnare la spugna.
Ai ristori troverete acqua e sali che saranno distribuiti in bicchieri totalmente compostabili. Inoltre biscotti e frutta saranno disponibili dal ristoro del km 10.
Come potete intuire si tratta di un grande cambiamento per lorganizzazione di un evento sportivo di questa portata ma il futuro del running e degli eventi sportivi questo.
Noi come White Marble Marathon anche nei prossimi anni cercheremo sempre di pi di organizzare eventi che saranno il pi possibile ecocompatibili.
