Welcome to the World’s Most Beautiful Marathon.

An annual running festival set in the stunning Queenstown Lakes district on Saturday 18 November 2023. One of the most scenic marathons in the world!

Iniziative per bambini e/o famiglie: Queenstown Airport Kids Run
Distance: 2.2km (approx)
Start Time: 1:00pm*
Start Line: Queenstown Gardens
Finish Line: Queenstown Memorial Centre Recreation Ground
Minimum Age: Must be aged between 5 and 12 years on race day to compete. Entrants between 5 - 9 years may be accompanied by one adult on course. Accompanying adults are free of charge, but MUST register for the event - a registration link is provided on the confirmation email of the Kids Run entry.
Cut-off Time: Due to course management and road closure restrictions, the course will officially be closed at 4:00pm.
Timing Results Timing results will be provided by age group category; 5-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-12 years, and will be based on participant's mat time.
Prizes All Kids Run finishers receive a medal. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each age group category for boys and girls, and will be based on participant's mat time.
Walkers Walkers are welcome to enter in the Kids Run. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times.

Prize money will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall Men and Women runners across the finish line. 1st - $3,000, 2nd - $1,500, 3rd - $750. The prize money will be based on participants gun time.

All New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty Marathon finishers will receive a Finisher Medal. Non-monetary prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placing in each running age group category for Men and Women, and will be based on participant's mat time.
