The Tromsø Midnight Sun Marathon is a unique race which offers you a rare experience of running in the middle of the night but with the sun still over the horizon. The Tromsø marathon is the northernmost AIMS certified marathon in the world. The Arctic midnight sun attracts runners from all around the world.
The Tromsø Midnight Sun Marathon is known for great its organization and fantastic atmosphere.

We look forward to welcoming runners from all over the World to Tromsø at 70°N to run in the Arctic and the land of the Midnight Sun. The sun does not set from end of May to end of July in this part of the world. Sunny day and night is a unique experience and to run at midnight while the sun still is over the horizon is a dream for many foreign runners who take part in the race.

The race is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and measured by Huge Jones. No matter level and age, there is a distance for you during MSM. You can choose between: Marathon, Mizuno Half Marathon, Coop Mila (10k), MSM Mini Marathon (4,2k) and Kids marathon (800m).
